Release Notes | Pause tasks
Updated at March 20th, 2024
👍 Take better breaks
A new feature has been rolled out to the annotation workspace that allows associates to pause work on a task and return to it later.
Deploying a Pause function to the workspace allows for efficiency gains compared to Stopping and Starting tasks, while also providing a more accurate representation of average Time Per Task.
Pausing tasks is also helpful for managing workloads in complex annotation projects, and can result in more accurate results.
How to pause a task
A new button has been added to the workspace, right next to the task timer, that you can click to pause the project. This will make a window pop-up, letting you know that your task is currently paused.
Clicking anywhere in the workspace will resume your task. Pausing a task will also save your changes, ensuring everything you've placed on the canvas will be there when you get back, unlike Stopping work, which may need changes to be manually saved.
When to pause your task
Pausing your task should be used:
- During feedback sessions
- When sharing your screen
- When taking breaks
- During Coaching sessions
